Is It Safe To Give O2 Suspension And Tixylix New For Cold And Cough?

Question: My child, 3 years has frequent incidents of cold & persistent cough for this our doctor prescribed O2 suspension (2.5 ml twice a day) & Tixylix New (2.5 ml twice a day) and whether it is safe to give her 3 to 5 days.
