it's ok but Adderall works for me-I took the adha test and I qualify--as an adult .people worry too much coffee was more of a addiction and quit that 5 years ago so ?

For increasing the concentration and depression, apart from adderall there are other drugs, like wellbutrin, modafinil, armodafinil, reboxetine,atomoxetine etc. You have discuss which one to start, with your psychiatrist. As you have been told that adderall will develop tolerance and has abuse potential, it will not be advisable to take.

Coffee increases the concentration but not to therapeutic level, so it is OK if you won't take it.

In my opinion wellbutrin and atomoxetine will be good drugs for you.
