Is It Safe To Have Intercourse While Being On Naturogest?
Question: Hi, my age is 24 and i have PCOD. I jad laproscopy last month and this month i got my periods on time without medicine, unlike previously. My doctor said my uterus is little small hence she gave me e+p cycle. She prescribed naturogest 200 and asked me to start ot from 11th day of cycle for 15days. My concern is, if i take naturogest can i have intercourse simultaneously and conceive?

Thank you so much. Doctor, should i take naturogest before inter course or after intercourse and also when are the higher chances of conceiving during the cycle? I also bought i sure ovulation testing kits. can you suggest on what days should i do ovulation test?

You can take naturogest vaginally in the night before going to sleep( no relation with sexual intercourse).
You should calculate your most fertile days in the months and do alternate days sex during that period.
The most fertile period is 5-6 days before ovulation , day of ovulation and 1 day after ovulation.
Ovulation usually occurs on 14th day in 28 days cycle.
Next period usually occurs 14 days after ovulation.
So you should go for ovulation testing according to your cycle usually between 12-15th day of your period cycle.
Start taking folic acid tablet daily, take balanced and healthy diet, do sex on alternate day and do not take any stress.

thanks for the advise. It was of great help. I used i sure ovulation kit. Out of 5 times i did the test, 4 times the test showed invalid result. Can you tell me the reason for that and any suggestion of a gud ovulation kit. And also my cycle is of 30 days amd today is my 13th day, when can i expect the ovulation and can u give me i formation of symptoms which happen during ovulation

You should do the test in between 10am to 8 pm and for good results in the afternoon around 2 pm.
Drink less water so urine is not diluted.
Read the results in 10 min.
See the date of expiry on kit.
Usually clearblue easy kit or response kit are used to see ovulation.
In 30 days cycle most fertile days from 13 th day onward for 6 days( 1st day cconsidered first day of menstrual bleeding), so do sex on these days.

To see ovulation see your basal body temperature ( which is raised), thick cervical mucous and pain during ovulation.
