Is It Safe To Sleep After Vicodin Overdose?
Question: I took 4 vicodins 750 by accident 7 hours ago, felt strong side effects earlier but last 3 hours got mild but I still feel some nauseas and dizziness , is it dangerous to fail asleep by now? because its making me very tired too

Vicodin 750 contains 750 mg of paracetamol and 7.5 mg of hydrocodone which is an opoid analgesic. Consuming 4 tabs of vicodin is equal to consuming 3 gm of paracetamol and 30 mg of hydrocodone.
The toxic lethal dose of paracetamol is more than 10 gm per day. Since you have ingested 3 gm, it is much below the toxic threshold for the body. I can advice you to have n-acetyl cysteine injections for detox of the drug.
30 mg of hydrocodone is not a very high toxic dose hence you can be reassured. The ideal treatment would be injection naloxone which is an opoid antagonist. It will reverse the signs of hydrocodone overdose. Supportive treatment with anti-emetics, pantoprazole and intravenous fluids is very helpful
In the current context, be rest assured. You can sleep without any worry, because the dose consumed is small.
