Question: Is it safe to stick a needle thru a toenail on a big toe that was hurt by dropping an 80 lb. weight on it - swelled big and has turned black?

It is recomended and safe method for it and it is called subungual hematoma drainage. Usually it is advisable to visit doctor for it,but it can be done at home you should just use sterile needle and it should be heated on fire a bit before it is used.
