I can understand your concern. You have been off from Zoloft for two days and have intense anxiety that is occurring with chest pains and chest tightness. For severe anxiety relief and panic attacks for the relief of symptoms Lorazepam in low doses can help. If you have prescription of Lorazepam then you can take the drug and this will surely help in reducing the symptoms. If symptoms persist or become worse after taking the drug then visit a psychiatrist for help.

so it is safe to take without worrying of reaction to any lingering zolof that may be in my system?
Brief Answer:
Its safe to use.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for asking a follow up
Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine drug and Zoloft is a SSRI drug. Both drugs have no significant drug interactions even if used together. In my clinic I advise my patients to even take these drugs together in evening.
So its safe to use, no need to worry from any drug reaction related to Zoloft.
Thanks, Still have more doubts please ask again. Take care
