Is It Safe To Take Lyrica And Ciprofloxacin Together For Chest Infection?

Question: is it safe to take lyrica (pregabalin) and ciprofloxacin at the same time? I have a very bad chest infection. I also have MS. My GP indicated I should come off the Lyrica whilst taking the ciprofloxacin - which I did, but 26 hours after the last dose of Lyrica I have terrible diarrhea (which I had expected as whenever I have forgotten to take the lyrica, I have dreadful diarrhea). Anyhow - thought I would check to see what the side effects of taking both are, and cannot find anything indicating they should not be taken at the same time.

no known interactions
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
There are no known interactions between these two drugs. Medical drug interactions check sites do not list them as interacting at all.
You may want to consider speaking to your doctor to find out what concerns he or she may have regarding this combination of medication.
They can normally be safely used together.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
