Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

CBD can cause side effects, such as dry mouth, diarrhea, reduced appetite, drowsiness, muscle aches and fatigue, some of which overlap with COVID 19.
This may interfere with the clinical judgement.

CBD can also interact with other medications, which a person might be taking.

COVID 19 is a zoonotic which was not known prior to a period of 6 months and even it's pathophysiology is not very clear.
One school of thought is that it causes a cytokine storm which cause disseminated clotting and resultant organ dysfunction/failure.
There is no known treatment of COVID 19 and many drugs like Azithromycin,HydroxyChloroquin,Oseltamivir,Aspirin and anti HIV are being used globally on an emperic basis.
CBD has a well known interaction with blood thinners.
If at all they are tried as one of the management remedies, there might be a clinically significant drug interaction.

There is hardly any significant data or studies available but as per my clinical sense,a patient with COVID 19 should avoid CBD.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
