Is It Safe To Take Crocin And Acetaminophen For High Fever?

Question: Can i give my give crocin after giving her Acetaminophen ( calpol 500 mg ) ????? she is having 103 degrees fever ! Her age is 9 yrs .

Brief Answer: no crocin and calpol cannot be used together. Detailed Answer: Hello there; Calpol and crocin both the medicines are mild analgesics used to relieve pain; fever. you cannot use crocin and calpol yogether since both the compounds will have same content acetaminophen that is paracetamol. crocin is available in 500 and 650 mg tablets for adult dose. since your daughter is 9 years old dosage will be 250mg two times a day. since she has throat infection and other symptoms i would suggest you to consult a physician for exact diagnosis and treatment. take care. dr.farah XXXXXXX
