
Is It Safe To Take Melatonin As An Asthmatic?

Question: is it safe to take melatonin as an asthmatic? i have found articles online saying that it can make asthma worse at night.

In my knowledge use of melatonin has not direct effects in airways diseases such as bronchial asthma.
If you are taking melatonin for a short period of time then I don't think this would be a problem for your situation and especially if you have controlled asthma don't worry so much nothing with happen.
Nevertheless if you will have severe breathlessness during its use just stop melatonin and do an inhaler like Albuterol.
