Brief Answer:
No Travelling

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns Travelling.

Following is my reply:

1. You cannot travel by air with such a low lying placenta.

2. Infact i am against you travelling long distance by any mode of transport as it could be life threatening.

3. Please stay in the city where you are as you might bleed anytime and it could be fast.

Let me know if you have any more doubts.

Regards,

Dr. Mahesh

Brief Answer:
Accurate distance cannot be predicted by ultrasound scan in mm

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Ultrasound scan cannot give precision measurements by distance of few mm. There is always possibility of error.

Hence just 2.6 cannot be guaranteed safety instead of 2.5.

Hence you are as good as in 2.5 cm range only. So no travelling.
