Hello
Welcome to Health care magic
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.
Cataract is an elective operation and it is better to avoid cataract surgery till your symptoms of stomach pain and gastroenteritis improve. As loose motion can be caused by gastroenteritis which is a infection of the intestine and it is better to avoid cataract surgery in the presence of infection in the body.
Do continue the treatment with Metrogyl 400mg and Normet. Both these are antibiotics and they are effective against gastroenteritis. You need to continue these antibiotics for full course of 5 days for complete cure of the infection.
Once the infection subsides you can go for cataract surgery.
Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

You can go for surgery if both are cured.

Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
If loose motion stops completely then you can go for cataract surgery. But if the stomach pain exists which indicates persistence of infection it is better to avoid surgery.
Hence if both loose motion and stomach pain are cured then you can go for cataract surgery.
