Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Based on the information you have shared, it seems to be safe to combine the body as usually, after surgeries PANADOL or Acetaminophen is considered to be analgesic or anti inflammatory of choice due to better safety profile as compared with other pain killers and is not known to be associated with drug - drug interactions very oftenly.
You can use it in 500mg dosing after meals, for pain or discomfort as per requirement not exceeding 4 doses per day. Normally it is available as over the counter drug so you can use it safely.
Hope this has answered your query. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
It can be steroid related
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for sharing more details.
The symptoms you have mentioned are less like due to panadol however prednisone which is steroid can cause such symptoms. When used in combination with sedating anti histamines like phenylephrine in your case, it's tendency gets higher. However it doesn't indicate any contraindication for it's usage and risks are weighed with benefits which in your case are higher than the side effects. You need to continue these at this moment and get review with your ophthalmologist to reconfirm for how long you need to take it and when do you need to tapper it off. Meanwhile try to get adequate sleep. and avoid such works which need more concentration or stress than normal. If problems aggravated get a review with a psychiatrists for a concomitant anxiolytics or mood stabilisers. Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
