Brief Answer: They are well tolerated... Detailed Answer: Hi, Well, most individuals use antiperspirant roll-on deodrants without serious adverse effects. They tolerate it very well. A few individuals who are allergic to the ingredients develop skin rashes and itching. If you have no such concern, you can continue to use the roll-ons. Alternatives to roll on/deodrant sprays are antiperspirant - well absorbing cotton garments and antiperspirant powder. Medical drugs such as anticholinergic and botox injections is used in limited cases where perspiration is severe and uncontrollable with topical antiperspirants described above. Hope this helps. Regards
