Question: Hi I m 20 years old and 1 month pregnant I can't keep this baby because I m not married I went to doc and she said its gonna cost around 9k to 10k for tablet abort. I can't spend this much money so I decided to use mifty kit is it safe to use ??I heard about this medi. from one of my friend can u help me out that how to use this tab. Before it's too late

Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Medical abortion is safe upto 7 weeks of pregnancy. However, it should be taken under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
It contains mifepristone tablet taken orally and misoprostol 2 tablets (200 mcg each) to be taken vaginally/orally after 48 hours.
The abortion process starts within 24-48 hours of intake of misoprostol tablet, and is usually completed in 15 days. However, if there is no bleeding or excessive bleeding, then you should consult the doctor immediately.

Hi XXXXXXX it's better to get a ultrasound done, preferably transvaginal ultrasound, to confirm the gestational age.
However, you also can get a blood beta hCG levels done, it will give you almost an approximate estimation of weeks of pregnancy.
