Is It True That One Can Only Move On When A Partner With Borderline Personality Disorder Begins To Consider You An Enemy Out Of The Blue?

Question: when a significant other with Border Line Personality disorder reaches a stage of not wanting anything more to do with me, with no explanation, is there any chance of us reconnecting or, as I have been told, at this stage nothing more can be done?
Brief Answer:
My suggestion.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are worried about relation with some one who has borderline personality disorder.
Yes, definitely it is difficult to continue relation with some one with this disorder.
But, please let me know some details about the person whom you are referring to?
how are they related to you?
since how long they have the disorder?
whether they have undergone any treatment?
Looking for your reply.
Thank you.

ur relationship is 'a couple' been together 3 years and I do not know how long she is diagnosed with this. Seperately been told, depression, bi-polar, and anxiety. Currently undergoing treatment. My understanding is that once a BPD decides someone is the 'enemy' there is nothing to be done to overcome that category and should just move on. Is this for the most part true?
Brief Answer:
It is, unfortunately, yes.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is, unfortunately, yes, if the partner is suffering from BPD, Definitely it is difficult to treat, but it can be manageable to some extent with medications and dialectic behavior therapy(DBT).
So, I advise you to consult your psychiatrist and plan for DBT along with medications.
Hope this information would help you.
