Question : Hi doctor, I had boiling water splash on my leg on 18th Mar. I immediately put my leg under running cold water. it's been a week now. while the redness is still there, I still have the itchy feeling. attached are pictures. should I be applying any cream. pls advise

Hi,

This will heal by itself. Some itching will be there because of the healing process. For some itching, medicine is not needed. Just do not itch or scratch the area.

For bad itching, you can take anti allergic medicine like tab Loratin. Antiseptic cream like Silver sulfadiazine cream can also be applied upto 2 times a day.
