Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Regarding your concern ,i would explain that it is necessary to differentiate these two conditions left bundle branch block and atrial flutter.

Left bundle block may be present prior to the appearance of flutter and in such case a cardiomyopathy should be sought (hypertrophic, dilated, ischemic, etc.)

From the other side, an aberrant ventricular conductance (LBBB) may appear after the onset of flutter and in such case once the flutter is controlled and terminated, such will be the case with LBBB too.

Coming to this point, I recommend discussing with your attending doctor on the opportunity of performing cardiac tests like:

- cardiac ultrasound,
- ECG monitoring (Holter),
- cardiac MRI (in case of any specific cardiomyopathy suspicion),
- electrophysiologic study (if necessary)

Once the clinical scenario is properly differentiated, the appropriate treatment may be applied.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
