I am 35 and I get these sudden allergic sort of symptoms like running nose ,watery eyes, excess sneezing which make me physically very disturbed and not able to concentrate on my daily routines..I have this problem at least 10 to 12 times in a year ,and the duration is almost a month with just a gap of 3 or 4 days.I visited a no. of doctors ,done a no. of tests but there is no cure for my ailment.allergy test was done but nothing specific was detected.I was initially given levocetrizine5 be than increased to 10 but no much relief, than levosiz -m was administered which helped a little but not for long.I. was started on steroid MDI like budecort, duonase than oral steroids like defzacort 15 mg of but relief was temporary, blood investigation reports were normal AEC was a a bit high antibiotics were tried. even a yearly flu vaccine could not control my symptoms .for a change I shifted my residence to a different environment but at last it was the same story.
I would just like to know whether takeing tab. levosiz-m and Allegra(180) OK in the long run or kindly suggest some medicine that I can discuss with my doctor and start.
I have also tried alternate medicines but during acute attacks I am advised to discontinue that treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern and am sorry for your distress.
I have read your query and it seems you have tried out most of the options.
Specific IgE blood tests to commonly suspected allergens panel can help explain the cause for your allergies and specific avoidance of the trigger can be advised, accordingly.
Long acting antihistamines can be used along with steroid nasal sprays should be used. The only addition I would like to see is Montelukast in addition to the antihistamines and steroid nasal sprays.
You may discuss this option with your doctor.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
