Is Mesotherapy An Effective Treatment For Hair Loss?

Question: My doctor advised me to go for Mesotherapy to control hair loss. Is Mesotherapy still in experimental stage or is it proven to treat or FDA/WHO approved it to treat hairloss? i am bit worried weather to go for Mesotherapy or not.
