                                    Hi,
Thanks for the details.
Your blood tests indicate premature ovarian failure. That means that you may be approaching menopause earlier than normal.Having positive family history is strongly indicative of this.Often its seen that if the patients mother/aunt has similar history, then early menopause is likely.
Premature menopause is a process that is unlikely to be reversed. The symptoms can be managed with fertility. If you desire children then you need to discuss options with a fertility specialist. Also i suggest that you get an ultrasound.Consult your doctor about medicines for withdrawal bleeding.
Regards,

Thank you doctor for your response. I have one last question...my mother was born premature...could her early menopause be related to that?

                                    Hi,
Good to hear from you again.
No, premature birth is not related to early menopause. There are several causes like genetic predisposition, ovarian failure, radiation treatment etc. In your case, I suppose it could be due genetic predisposition.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a good health.
