Is Negative HIV DUO 4th Generation Test Conclusive After 4 Months From Exposure?

On 2nd May 2015 I went for a Party. One new friend of mine has offered a glass of Drink to me. It was red color drink and he said it's special drink for me and I drank that.
Actually I went in a Restroom and I returned in two/three min, meanwhile He and bar tender has prepared the Drink.
1. Later after few days one thought came in my mind that he must have mixed some blood in my drink as Drink is of Red color.
2. To rule out the possibilities I went through "HIV-DUO Serum by CMIA (4th generation) Test" After 4 month [2 Sep 2015] and result came back "Non Reactive with Index value 0.33" and same test after 4.5 months [14th SEP 2015] "Non Reactive with Index value 0.35".
My question is
I am bit confused with Index value and not sure about the significance of these values and why the index value is increased? Report says anything less than 1 is Non Reactive.
Considering point 1 above scenario and Non Reactive Report after 4.5 Month,
Do I need to get tested again??
Can HIV transmitted in this manner. I am not able to concentrate and it is bothering me like anything and not able to move ahead.
Kindly Help
No need to get tested again and HIV does not transmit through this manner.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM.
First of all, you need not to bother about HIV as it is not transmitted through the manner you had said and also the survival of HIV virus outside the human body or in an open environment is very difficult and it will die within hours only.
Second, don't get confused with index value as it has not much significance and anything below 1 is considered as non-reactive. The difference between the values is most probably due to the instrument or the technique used.
Lastly, you need not to get tested again as your 4th generation HIV DUOS test after 4 and 4.5 months post exposure is non-reactive so it is very much reliable and the risk of getting HIV infection is also very remote or negligible.
Thank You

Kindly clear below confusion
You said survival of HIV virus outside the human body or in an open environment is very difficult and it will die within hours only.
In an open environment, will it die in Hours or in seconds? What I heard, that HIV virus dies in seconds when exposed in open environment or air.
You said No need to get tested again and HIV does not transmit through this manner and chances are remote or negligible.
The instance, which I described, can still be a cause of concern in my case??
Kindly help to clear above doubt
HIV virus will die within seconds when exposed in open environment or air.

Dear XXXXXXX
HIV virus will die within seconds when exposed to an open environment or the air as the survival is very difficult outside the human body. Definitely HIV is not transmitted by the way you had said so chances are very rare.
I don't think you have to be concerned much about this incidence as you are safe but for your mental satisfaction you can go for repeat testing after 6 months.
Thank You

can hiv virus survive in water or any drinks? As my Friend has offered a glass of Drink to me.
You said no need to test agian as 4th generation HIV DUOS test after 4 and 4.5 months post exposure is non-reactive so it is very much reliable but in your last post you said for your mental satisfaction you can go for repeat testing after 6 months.
Kindly clear above doubt and I will close the discussion
Sorry to bother you agan but try to understand my situation I am feeling like a paranoid
HIV virus does not survive in water or any drink so you need not to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
HIV virus does not survive in water or any other drink so don't worry much about that. As far as repeat testing after 6 months is concerned it is just as routine to clear all your doubts nothing else because your HIV DUOS 4th generation test is non-reactive after 4 and 4.5 months and the window period for HIV is also 15 days to 3 months so you can consider it as conclusive. Be relaxed and no need to feel like a paranoid as you are completely safe and risk free.
Thank You
