Is Normal Childbirth Possible After Undergoing Vacuum Delivery For First Baby?

Question: My first delivery is vacuum delivery so whether I will have normal delivery for second one.

hi,

i can understand your concerns.

yes you can have normal delivery after vacuum delivery.

the chances of normal delivery are not reduced by previous vacuum delivery unlike previous caesarean delivery.

can i ask you what was the reason for vacuum application as that can define next delivery if the cause is a persisten one.

In my first delivery my son weight 3.42kg and and his head size also big so doctor says it's hard for normal it may be cesarean but luckily got vacuum delivery.. so that i like to know for my second one

Get fetal weight at term.

Dear,

if this childs. weight is also similar then you will need vacuum or caesarean. get a sonography for fetal weight at 37-38 weeks of pregnancy.

If it is again near 3.5 kg then chances of normal delivery are low.

Tubal ligation is best

Best method and permanent is tubal ligation. Its a small 15 minute surgery.

Next best method is copper T .

If you do not want either then use progesterone only pills till 6 months or condoms.
