Thanks for replying back. The only symptoms I have from MDS is generalized weakness. They say I'm in the intermediate stage of MDS because my white, red, and platelets are below normal.
However, I am extremely hungry when I get up in the morning time. So hungry that I almost eat twice the food I normal eat. It takes about two hours to feel the effect of the food working in my system. And then I have to eat thru out the day to keep my strength. Then on the most part I'm okay besides the weakness. At night time I sleep very good.
What kind of Tests should I have to determine why I'm so hungry. I feel that my body is not properly absorbing the food. Or something else is going on with my stomach. Please tell me what kind of test I need to find out what is really going on inside of me. Thanks

You are the first doctor listening to me about my hunger. Thank you. I ate liver last night and it was good! I woke up in the morning time and I wasn’t starving for food. I felt almost normal. My stomach still rumbled a little.
Do you think the liver helped with all the nutrients? It still feels like some thing inside of me is eating my food. Parasites?
Would the CT Scan helps to detect them?
Thanks

CT scan of whole abdomen

Hi
Liver has many nutrients
Would advise you to do a CT scan of whole abdomen
Also take a course of antihelmintic drugs with your doctor advise which will kill all the parasites if there is present in your body

Can you recommend a doctor who specializes in treating with my hunger/absorption disorder. A doctor who will do the ct scan and a doctor who will find out the causes of this problem. Is there a specialist doctor?
Also, I do not trust my own doctor. Because two years ago my total cholesterol was 90 and last year it was 85! My doctor never did anything to help me. He should had help me because I think that is why I’m having problems right now. Isn’t low cholesterol a malabsorption or an autoimmune disorder?
