Brief Answer:
Blood investigations are needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your response.
Values of electrolytes can be known by blood investigations. Yes, abnormal values of some electrolytes like Sodium can cause muscle twitching.
I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically evaluated by your doctor before starting any medications.
I hope this answers your query. If you have any further doubts, please mention.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Get investigations done first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your response.
As I have mentioned earlier, increase or decrease in the normal values can cause certain disease or symptoms in the body. I would suggest that you should get Serum Electrolytes done and if the treating doctor thinks necessary to add Paedialyte or any such oral or injectable remedy, then only it should be taken.
I hope this answers your query. If you have any further doubts, please mention.
Thanks.
