Is Oxygen Saturation Range Of 96-98 A Cause For Concern?
Question: I have had emphysema for 13 years. My oxygen level numbers have always been good - range of 96-98. I use Symbicort twice daily. I suddenly am having a breathing problem and oxygen levels have fallen to 94/95 which is very unusual for me. My dr. did order Pro Air on 8/30/16 b/c I thought I was having a problem breathing at times. Turned out that I used it once & never since. Suddenly my oxygen level has dropped to 94/95 - scary, I feel that I might need to use it & cannot reach Mr. Dr. Do you think it might be safe? I drink wine in the evenings which always seems to relax my mind & body. do you think that might interfere with the ability of Pro Air to help me? I am just afraid to do something without dr. advice.
