Is Pain And Discomfort In Testicles A Symptom Of STD?
Question: I am having some "discomfort" in my testicles. No fluid leaking out and no burning when I urinate. Should I be concerned that this is a STD or something else?
Brief Answer:
Testicular pain
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing testicular pain. This is not due to any STD or UTI. You could have pulled a muscle in the inguinal area or an inguinal hernia. It is hard to determine from your symptoms alone. You need to see your medical provider who can do a proper testicular exam. Once you have been examined your provider can give you treatment and or counsel on how to reduce you pain.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions

Thanks for the quick reply!
Another question...what symptoms would I be having if this was a STD?
If it is a pulled muscle, do I need to refrain from having intercourse or can I still do that and just manage the discomfort?
Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Symptoms of STD
Detailed Answer:
The symptoms of a STD is penile discharge or a open sore on the penis. You may also have pain or burning on urination.
You can engage in sexual activity even if you have an inguinal hernia or muscle strain. My counsel is if it hurts don't do it. It would make things any worse it may just hurt longer.
