Is Pain In The Neck And Head Indicative Of Cervical Radiculopathy?

Question: One week ago I started getting a random shooting pain from my neck (behind my right ear) to my head. The pain would come and then go every 10-20 minutes. The next morning I woke up with neck pain and it hurt to turn my head.. almost like I slept wrong.
All week thereafter, the pain in my neck went away but I have these pains that come and go in mainly my right temple.. its accompanied with a woozy feeling that last a few seconds. This has been going on for a full week and I am having anxiety thinking something is terribly wrong. I also have a weird tingling sensation above my right ear. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised and get examined by a doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Neck and headache in the occipital region may be due to muscle spasm or cervical radiculopathy.
As the symptoms are decreasing, there seems no worry.
Mild pain may persist for some time.
You can visit a doctor for an examination for any possible findings which may warrant any imaging studies. Pain killer will be sufficient at present. Local pain reliever ointment helps too.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
