Brief Answer:
You can get him treated

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You can start treatment, If all his parameters like Vitamin levels and blood reports are normal he should not be suffering much. In this case, always his treating doctor is the best to take a decision on.

In any age, the pain of chemotherapy and radiotherapy will be there. But it always has to be judged with his current situation, where this is the only treatment option available.

Any issue do follow up. Take care.
