Brief Answer:
Can be gum infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You should first of all consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated.
An X-ray of the area should be done.
In case if there is gum infection then localized cleaning can be done.
It should be followed by a course of antibiotics like Metrogyl and anti inflammatory painkillers like Advil.
If there is tooth infection then the tooth has to be treated with root canal treatment.
For now continue warm saline gargles and antiseptic mouthwash gargles.
Do chlorohexidine gel massage over gums.
