Brief Answer:
Is the child exclusively breast fed?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The first thing I would need to ask you is whether the child is on exclusive breast feeding or whether the child is formula fed. Formula milk is cow milk based and difficult to digest. This could leave undigested matter to be degraded by intestinal bacteria to produce the gases. Switching back to breast milk should resolve the problem. If the child is already exclusively breast fed, it is not a cause for concern.

Regards
