Question: I am taking medrol dosepak 4mg and on day #3 - i am scheduled for periodontal scaling tomorrow and do not want to cancel; however, what medical risk would I be taking?

As per your complain Medrol Dosepack is a Steroid composition and as your just taking it for 3 days, it will not cause any serious medical risk but as steroids suppress immunity of body, therefore chances of infection becomes higher..

1. Along with Medrol are you taking any other medication too?
2. For what problem are you taking Medrol?
3. What problem are you facing with the gums like swollen gums, gum recession, teeth loosening etc?
4.Do you have any other medical problem?
5.What medication has the dentist advised so far ?
