Question: I have a weird pain. When I wipe my butt. After I wipe it hurts the rest of the day no matter what I’m doing. It’s on the inside of my butt cheeks. Occasionally I have blood on my toilet paper but not all the time. It hurts if I’m sitting down or walking as well. I do shower regularly and I make sure I get that area. Sometimes it’s so bad that even soaping up in between the cheeks hurts.

Brief Answer:
hemorrhoid

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It sounds like you may be having a problem with hemorrhoids. Try some Preparation H cream and soaks in a warm tub of water to see if this helps. If the hemorrhoid is clotted off (thrombosed) you may need to have that removed in a doctor's office. Other suggestions are to make sure you drink plenty of water, avoid too much caffeine or alcohol since they can be constipation, and adding some fiber to your diet. The fiber could be in the form of a pill, like psyllium, or just eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
