
Is Physiotherapy The Best Treatment For Post Operative Left Lower Limp Pain?

I ever mention abt my spine problem with you previously and now I had done my spine operation on the 7May 2014.I had Artefactuarial space occupying lesion in left lateral recess of L5/S1 level (demonstrated on MRI)causing neurological syslmptoms of Left Lower Limp pain and weakness-severe hypoaesthesia S1 distribution with paraesthesia and right lower limp symptoms of S1 distribution-paraesthesia.My questions is
1-I still had severe pain under my both foot although I had done the operation.what treatment should I have for my foot.?
2- How long did the spine need to have fully recover?
3-My urine still very bad smell,What treatment should I have?

Good to hear that you have got the operation done as in my opinion the problem would not have resolved on its own.
Now answering your questions:
1) Physiotherapy will be the best treatment for any post operative pain. Also some pain killers will add to your comfort.
2) Spinal surgeries can take a month or more to recover completely . But it varies from complexities of operation and also person to person. Again physiotherapy and good nursing care will help you recover faster.
3) If your urine is smelling bad i suggest you to get a urine routine and culture sensitivity done as it could be an subclinical bacterial infection which needs to be treated.
