Is Pregnancy Possible After Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?
Question: Me and my girlfriend had unprotected dry humping(outercourse) on 29th August and she has a 29 day cycle and her period was due 2nd Sept.. About 30 hours after unprotected outercourse she had an ECP and then on 3rd september there was a little spotting but the very next day and for a total of three days there was heavy bleeding..We made an opinion of that as her period and did not bother much.. After that there was no sexual activity but this month she was due on 4th Oct because she has regular cycles but she has been 2 days late again.. Please Please tell me what is the situation and could the delay have been because of the ECP.. Could she be pregnant? could that heavy bleeding for 2 days not have been her periods?

Thank You doctor but does the ECP effect remains for the next month also? She had spotting about 5 days after the ECP and then 2-3 days of heavy bleeding..This delay this month is again because of the ECP? Also yesterday there was cervical mucus discharge wich was white and thick.. Just to be doubly sure till when maximum can we expect the delay in her period? and till when will the ECP mess with her cycles?

Taking an ECP just before the periods can cause a mild hormonal disturbance and can delay periods in the next cycle also.
You need to wait for a week more to get the periods. The change in consistency of mucus can also be related to this delay in periods. The effect is not likely to persist for more than 4-6 weeks.
