Question: If one has not had a menstrual cycle in over a year is there any possibility of pregnancy?

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes it is possible to be pregnant even if patient hasn't had periods for one full year especially if female is in active reproductive years (15-45 years of sge) and is most commonly seen in lactational period.
I would like to know the menstrual history and she of the concerned female.

The woman is myself and I have not had a menstrual cycle for several years. I am diabetic. When I was having a cycle they were very heavy in nature. I was on shots for years but last shot was in 2008. I have recently become sexually active again, just don't want a pregnancy.
