Brief Answer:
emergency contraception is already taken, don't worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
She has rightly taken unwanted 72 within 72 hrs of unprotected intercourse during her fertile period. Chances of failure is only 1 per cent with unwanted 72 , else its an effective emergency contraceptive . If she gets her withdrawal bleed in next 5-7 days then it shall rule out pregnancy completely and she can be considered pregnancy safe then. So wait for her withdrawal bleeding to get initiated and also important is to keep her well hydrated to avoid side effects like dizziness and nausea following the pill intake.

Doctor is there any possibility that bleeding won't come in 5-7 days or it's is natural that after taking unwanted 72 it bleeds
Brief Answer:
if you miss then get a serum beta hcg test to rule out pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Usually this doesn't happen but if there is delay in withdrawal bleed, then you should ideally wait for 10 days and then get a serum beta hcg test which if is negative, shall rule out pregnancy, and then you may opt for a progesterone withdrawal with progesterone tabs.
