Is Pregnancy Possible By Having Unprotected Sex During Periods?
Question: I am a 25 year old with little to no sexual history. On the day that I started my period, My fiancé and I got a little carried away. At the time I was using a tampon, we were both unclothed: there was contact but due to the presence of my tampon I do not believe there was penetration of any kind. In fear, I replaced my tampon almost immediately. I know that it is possible, though rare, to become pregnant from pre-ejaculation fluid. Considering the added circumstance that I had just started my period, I believe the chance is even less likely. However, I can not make the fear that I could conceive from this childish slip leave my mind. Can you confirm that it would indeed be unlikely for conception under these circumstances or are my fears reasonably justified?
