Is Pregnancy Possible By Having Unprotected Sex During Safe Period?

Question: Hello Doctor,
I am 24 year old, my periods had occurred on 3rd of April (First day) last month, on 23rd of April I had unprotected intercourse with my fiance in the morning, we were confident that he hadn't ejaculated in me, but while taking out his penis from my vagina, there might be something at the lower end of my vagina, to prevent from the risk of pregnancy i had took I- pill on 23rd itself within 12 hours, as per my mensuration cycle i was expecting my periods on 3rd May (i.e. today), and today I am bleeding and I dont know what is it, whether its a side effect of taking ipill or its a normal periods bleeding, coz today is my expected date of period and also today morning i felt a bit of pus kind of thing on my left nipple. We are worried about the pregnancy and the delay in date of periods. And also worried that if there is nothing inside my vagina at all and had taken i pill keeping in mind a doubt about something had realsed at the lower end of my vagina, what will be the cause and side effects. Please reply me with your concern. I am scared doctor.

I have taken ipill for.the first time and had intercourse for the first time too, so we both are worried.
Bleeding normally at the expected date is a sign of pregnancy, or is the side effect of ipill, or its a normal period ? And what are the chances of getting pregnant ? Bleeding occured today which is exactly 10 days after taking ipill and exactly a month after my previous period date.

Brief Answer:
irregular periods

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I don't think you have to be worried about pregnancy because you had intercourse during your safe period and also because he did not ejaculate in you. You also took proper precaution by taking the ipill.

Irregular periods are known to occur after taking the ipill. I recommend that you wait for your periods for another 10 days and in case it does not happen you can always confirm by taking an over the counter urine pregnancy test

I hope I was of help in alleviating your concern

But doctor my bleeding has started by today itself normally, then what it is? Is this the side effect of I pill or the proper periods? This the main doubt.
