Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Having Junel Pills Post Unprotected Sex?

Question: I have been on birth control for four years. My pharmacist messed up and I missed a week of my pills. I had sex and took plan b, then the next day started a new pack of pills. About a week later of consistently taking my pills, I had sex again and the condom broke. The next day I took four pink pills of junel birth control. Are my chances of pregnancy high?
Brief Answer:
Your chances of pregnancy are extremely low.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am dr Ramadevi wani. I will be answering your concern today.
Junel does not work as emergency contraception.
However, when you start contraceptive pills any time in the cycle, its effectiveness starts after 7 days.
Since you had sex after seven days of starting the contraceptive pill, you are protected. Your chances of pregnancy are extremely low. If at all pregnancy occurs then it will be due to Plab B or contraceptive pill method failure only.
I hope this helps. If you have any further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
