the abdominal growth due to pregnancy is unlikely
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,thanks for the information.
As per the information provided the growth of abdomen due to pregnancy is highly unlikely.
The abortion was done around 40 days ie..5-6 weeks during which the growth of abdomen is not evident.
Usually the growth of abdomen is evident only after 3 months of pregnancy.
So as the abortion was done there is no chance of pregnancy to grow and increase in abdomen. Moreover it is confirmed by negative HCG and urine pregnancy testing.
The growth of abdomen might be due to bloating or constipation.
So relax. But as there is brown discharge continuously from then on I suggest you to go for an ultrasound to rule out any retained
bits of pregnancy.
Otherwise nothing to worry. And there are no chances of continuation of pregnancy.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
It will lead to infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion ultrasound is the only method which confirms the presence or absence of retained bits.
Sorry there is no other way.
In a country like yours you can tell that abortion was spontaneous so they will not blame you and conduct scan to see what is the problem.
I stayed in Arab country where the abortion was not legal but if the abortion is spontaneous definitely they will consider.
So dont worry.Iam suggesting you the ultrasound because there is altered blood discharge since the pregnancy was terminated. And the most common cause for it is retained bits.
If they are left like that it might lead to infection and furthur complications. So the cause of discharge should be investigated.
Dont worry.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.

Belly becoming bigger is not a sign
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear
Nice to see you.
I read your query and understand your concern.
In my opinion bacterial infection of retained products is the most common complication in incomplete abortion.
In those patients a kind of high grade fever with or without chills and fever is seen.
Some might complain abdominal pain also.
There can be associated foul smelling vaginal discharge.
In case of any above symptoms kindly see a doctor as quickly as possible.
And growing of abdomen might not be a sign of incomplete abortion.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
