Brief Answer:
rule out pregnancy with hpt..explained

Detailed Answer:
hello ,
thanks for contacting health care magic.

An ipill if to be taken within 72 hours of the last intercourse, and sooner taken better the action. If taken at 80 hrs, the action of ipill cannot be completely relied on and it may not serve to prevent pregnancy .

also usually afetr taking the ipill , the bleeding should resume within 7days to XXXXXXX 10 days. In your case, the delay has been more than 15 days now. i suggest get a urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy first. once ruled out then she can be given a progesterone withdrawal for menses , after a pelvic ultrasound.

so first things first , get a urine pregnancy test done.

Brief Answer:
MTP can be offered once preg confirmed..

Detailed Answer:
thanks for the follow up.
well ,
it is difficult to say right now without a test , but suspicion remains as periods should have started by now.
In case she turns out to be pregnant , then there are options available to medically terminate the pregnancy at a registered MTP center in consult with your gynae. it should not be done without gynae supervision.
