Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I Pill After Unprotected Sex?
Question: My periods lasted from 11th oct to 15 th oct. Had unprotected sex on 16th. I have 26days cycle. Though he did not ejaculate inside. I had one dose of ipill on 18th oct ie within 42 hrs. I had little cramps after that. On 1st nov i have spotting which is dark red in colour. Can i b pregnant due to precum ejaculate. What is the cause of such spotting or cramps

You are unlikely to be pregnant for the following reasons
1. You had unprotected sex on 16th Oct that is 6th day of cycle, it is safe period in cycle as ovulation does not occur at that time
2. IPill is quite effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex, which you have taken. So it is another added reason to say that chances of pregnancy are unlikely
The cause of spotting is likely to be due to IPill. It is hormonal pill and causes withdrawal bleeding and cramp like pain. Taking analgesic/antispamodic will provide much needed relief.

Will i face any problem in my regular periods which is due on 6th nov. How many days can it get preponed ir postponed .

Now i think its not spotting but proper periods. So it has been preponed by 4 /5 days. Hope it is nothing unusual. And chance of pregnancy is completely ruled out. Also,will my cycle b still 26 days or i need to keep a watch for the next two periods
