Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I Pill Post Unprotectected Sex?
pregnancy not likely
Detailed Answer:
hello and welcome to HCM,
I understand the issue well. Please do not worry. I Pill prevents pregnancy. However the only problem is that you have taken the pills almost back to back within a duration of a month. They are not to be taken in this fashion. They must be used only if there is an occasional unprecedented sexual contact and no other method is available at that time. If they are taken frequently then they cause missed periods or irregular periods.
I understand that the last period was on 25th august, you had sex on 29th and then took the pill. So it is more than 3 weeks since the date of sex and still the tests is negative. This definitely rules out pregnancy.
You have taken modus 3 days ago. You seem to be still using it or have stopped it is not clear. We usually use it twice daily for 3 days and then stop. The period usually comes in the next 7 days after the day modus was stopped. So please check if this happened in your case.
Please do not worry. Pregnancy is unlikely. Ectopic pregnancy generally gives a positive urine test as well as causes abdominal pain more on the affected side. So check if you are having these.
This delay is most likely due to the i pill and is very common. The only thing you must do is wait for 2-3 weeks more for the periods. Most of the time they come. Then we suggest oral contraceptive pills for 3 cycles to regularize them.
If the periods are still absent after 2-3 weeks then a hormonal evaluation and an ultrasound may be needed. However in my personal opinion it is the pill along with the stress of the delayed period that is causing further delay.
So please relax, practice yoga and meditation and then just wait for the periods. They will come.
I understand your issue well. But there is no need to worry about pregnancy now.
Take care and feel free for any further queries.

periods will come after stopping modus
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
I understand it.
Take modus for 5 days and then expect periods to come within the next week after stopping it. If they are still absent then wait for another week. They will most likely come.
About the discharge, modus itself as well as I pill cause thick cervical secretions. However another reason for this may be an infection. As you have seen a doctor I am not sure if you have been evaluated for the same. If the discharge is having a bad odor or is causing an itch then it is most likely an infection. Otherwise it may be due to pills.
So kindly check if any of the above symptoms are there and if the doctor preformed a vaginal examination to look for the discharge. Even if it is an infection, vaginal tablets like clotrimazole with clindamycin are very effective if used for 7 days. So there is no need to worry about it. Just get it checked.
Hope this helps.
Feel free for any more queries.

Hello and welcome back XXXXXXX
{ I have re read all your queries}
You seem to have had three episodes of bleeding very close by. You bled on 25th then on 30th then on 2nd.
So this is most likely due to the pill. Please take the modus for 5 days and just wait for next 7 days, you will have a period. After that start oral contracpetive pills for 21 days. Take it for 2 cycles just to help regularize your period. You may discuss this with your doctor in your next visit.
After this you will not have any issues.
Also please be careful while using I pill in future. I recommend that you switch to a better regular contracpetive method like pills, or injections or condoms to help protect against pregnancy.
If you are extremely worried about ectopic [ unlikely in your case], you may get a blood test done for HCG. If it is negative then ectopic is unlikely.
Please do not worry, the periods will come.
Hope this helps.
I am here for any more queries.

Is there any tab that can help in getting periods as soon as possible.? I still get frequent mucus discharge instead of bleeding... nw evn symptoms for periods have reduced unlike before. Will i get my periods?
just wait for a few more days.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
please do not worry. If the pregnancy test is negative then there are no issues. We wait for tleast a week and sometimes even 2 weeks for the withdrawl bleed after modus. So it may come within the next few days. Just wait and do not get stressed. Stress itself delays periods.
As of now, this was the only solution we had as a baseline step. The I pill has lead to an irregular bleed and so the effect of modus has now become unpredictable. But if the urine test is negative, there is no need to worry. Just wait for the period and once it comes begin the oral contraceptive pills to help regularize it.
I understand the issue but I suggest that you still wait. This is not uncommon and is not a very serious matter. There is no pregnancy and so just wait and periods will come.

menopause unlikely
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome,
please do not worry. This is not menopause because there are no other symptoms like vaginal dryness, hot flashes, palpitations etc. Mifepristone is an abortificient and will not help as there is no pregnancy.
This is most likely due to i pill.
If you are still worried and want to get investigated then I suggest an ultrasound of the pelvis [ help rule out pregnancy, ovarian cysts], and a blood hormone profile like thyroid, prolactin, FSH and LH are the initial steps. Thyroid abnormalities are common and cause delayed periods and we get it tested if periods are delayed by more than 60 days.
Also just relax, destress, do not worry about periods, do moderate exercise and eat healthy food and the periods will come.
I understand your situation but I assure you that this is not pregnancy and unlikely to be menopause.
Take are and I am here to help.
