Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?
Question: Hi, I had my last period on May 22nd. According to my 28 day cycle, I should get my next period on XXXXXXX 19th. However, I took the I-pill yesterday on XXXXXXX 15th after brief unprotected penetration (though he did not ejaculate inside me).
1. Could you please tell me if I can expect my period earlier than scheduled?
2. Considering the incident was outside my ovulation phase, what are the chances I am pregnant?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
no risk of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
There is no risk of pregnancy firstly because you had sex outside your fertile period.
Your period can come early or may even get delayed due to the effect of emergency pill.
All you need to do now is to wait for your periods.
All the best.

Hi Doctor XXXXXXX
Thank you for your answer. I am slightly at more peace now. I took the I-Pill within the 72 hour period (though it was towards the end of the 72 hour period) and was very worried. However, since you are saying it is outside the fertile period, I am more at peace now.
If there is anything else I can do now to reduce the risk of pregnancy please do let me know.

Detailed Answer:
There is absolutely no risk of pregnancy so you need not to worry at all.
Don't be anxious even if your periods are delayed as that would just be the effect of ipill
