Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?

Though late, it was within safe period
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Though you have not mentioned the time of intercourse, I presume it to be somewhere around 10:00 pm on 11th December. You have consumed Ipill on 14th December at 9:00 am. So you took Ipill within 60 hours after the unprotected intercourse.
Ipill is a hormonal emergency birth control pill to prevent pregnancy due to and after unprotected sexual relations. It is best effective if taken within 24 hours after the intercourse; however, it may show its protective action when taken up to 72 hours after the unprotected coitus. You have taken it after 60 hours; so there is a good possibility that you may be protected from the probable pregnancy.
When were you expecting your menses? This information will provide me the information about your fertility window and the period of delay in the menses. Also, please let me know the pattern and regularity of your menstrual cycles. What is your age and at what age did you start getting menstruation?
Ipill being a hormonal pill, is known to delay the next menses for few days as it increases the levels of hormones in the blood and it takes longer for them to come down. May be within a week's time, you should get your menses.
Still if you have got any doubt in your mind, you may go for Urine Pregnancy Test (UPT). I would advise you to perform this test a week after missed period, done earlier, you may have to face false negative results. Overnight first urine sample contains higher concentration of hCG; hence it is advisable to perform HPT on early morning first urine sample.
The other option is to go for Beta hCG pregnancy test which is highly sensitive and very specific. it gives reliable results even few days before missed period.
If you are not pregnant (as evident from the pregnancy test) and still the menses are not appearing, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days. 4-7 days after these tablets, you should get menses.
If you provide me with the required information, I can make the picture and advice still more clear for you.
If you are satisfied with this advice, you please post a good review with 5 star rating for me. If you want any more information or advice, I am always available for you, XXXXXXX

Just in time.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
You have taken Ipill 71 hours after the unprotected intercourse. This is just in time. Still you have taken it within 72 hours. So you should be protected; however, you have to keep the fingers crossed. Wait for the menses. If they are delayed, confirm the occurrence of pregnancy by UPT or Beta hCG test and take the action accordingly as I have suggested in the first message.
Ipill being hormonal pill, usually may cause withdrawal bleeding 4-7 days after the pill; however, it is not a rule. Your regular menses which are expected by 4 January also may get delayed by few days. As I suggested you, you may safely wait for about a week for the menses. Then you may go for pregnancy tests.
You need not worry about the withdrawal bleeding. Wait for the menses.
