Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Postinor Pill?

Question: Hello,
Hello!
I took Postinor pills about 8 or so hours after having unprotected sex and the individual came in me. My period started on 19th April and ended 5 days later. On day 14 of my cycle is when I had sex and took the pill on day 15 because it was too late to go to a pharmacy. I started noticing spotting yesterday ( 3 days after I took the pill). I've taken the pill before and bled lightly one week after, but this spotting on day 3 from taking the pill has me a bit worried. My cycle is also VERY irregular (different length every month, ranging from 31 to 49 days), so I do not know when my fertile window is EVER. I can only go by average from my period app n it says my window opened on day 15 of my cycle.
As I said, the last time I took the pill, I bleed a week after for about 3 days, it was like a light period. But this time, I'm spotting and it's only been 3 days since I took the pill (started yesterday), today is day 4 from taking the pill. One spot, 2 spots, if I wipe with a piece of tissue. This has me thinking it may be implantation bleeding, but I'm not sure.
Please help!

Brief Answer:
Not an implantation bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety about the issue.
There is nothing to worry as it is withdrawal bleeding only after the pill and not at all an implantation bleeding.
Implantation bleeding takes place after at least 12-14 days of sexual activity so just relax and from next cycle onwards start taking oral pills which will help in contraception as well as will regularise your cycles.
All the best.

Hello,
Thank you for this answer.
I was just worried because this did not happen the last time I took the pill. What exactly is withdrawal bleeding?
Also, I've always been afraid to take regular birth control to regulate my period, fearing that I may not be able to have kids when I want to.

Brief Answer:
Take oral pills
Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome and don't keep any such notion in your mind as pills will rather keep all your hormones in place and thus help in conceiving rather quickly as and when you will like to do it.
These emergency pills rather have more deleterious effect on fertility than any other treatment.

Thanks for this.
Last question,
How long should this minimal spotting last and I know from experience that the pill will lead my next period to stay extremely longer than usual to appear, is that normal? Last time I took the pill, my cycle was 49 days before the next one started. I've also had a 45 say cycle without taking pills.
Do you know why this would be so?

Brief Answer:
Quite usual to have prolonged periods after ipill intake
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, it is common to have delayed periods after ipill intake and especially in patients like you who already have a history of delayed periods.
This is because the bleeding you get is because of excessive thick endometrium and that is shed in parts during ipill bleed so it takes even longer to reach a thickness which will cause periods.
So in my opinion you need start taking oral pills and see if there is regularity after stopping pills.
Avoid ipill intake as much as possible.
