Brief Answer:
need more information

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.

If your cycles are regular unprotected intercourse on 13 th February might not result in pregnancy as it comes under safe period.

But before giving you more suggestions I need to know:-
1)Are your cycles regular? And when is your expected period date in February?
2)When did you take the I-pill and within how many hours of unprotected intercourse?
Kindly provide me the information.

Looking forward to hear from you.

hello ma'am,

My cycles are regular & my expected period date in February was 14/15th feb.
But still today my periods has not come up.I have taken i-pill on 17th February which is within 96 hours(not within 72 hrs) of unprotected intercourse.

i am having unusual pain(pain which cause when we do exercise after long days) in my lower abdomen and right thigh. Is it a symptoms of pregnancy?
looking forward for your reply ma'am.

thank you

Brief Answer:
it might be the ipill effect

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your information.I understand your concern.
In my opinion 13 th February comes under safe period as your cycles are regular and your expected period is on 14 th or 15 of February.
Safe period is the one where in chance of pregnancy is rare even with unprotected intercourse. There might be no need of ipill in this period but having been taken it might have effected the period.
Ipill efficiency decreases if taken later than 72 hours. But as it is safe period you need not worry.
Ipill might effect the timing and bleeding of period in the cycle which is taken. The period might be delayed or come earlier and the bleeding might be lighter or heavier.
The stress regarding the thought of pregnancy might have delayed the period (as stress causes hormonal imbalance leading to delayed period)and the intake of ipill might have delayed still.
Dont worry madam wait for a week or 10 days for spontaneous onset of periods.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
Best regards...Dr srilatha
