Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse During Menstruation?

Question: Hi. I started my monthly cycle a few days ago but it was very light sometimes brown in color and skipped a day where it wasn't there at all. I also had unprotected sex twice with my significant other during a day that it skipped and now it is gone and I haven't had it. It was never like this before and lasted four days but only two and a half if you count actual bleeding. My significant other did have unprotected sex earlier this month but when I took two home pregnancy tests they came back negative. Is this something I should wait to see if it is like this again next month? What are my options and possibilities it could mean its never been this abnormal. XXXX

If your cycle is in your expected days and you have had only light brown in color and skipped a day than there is nothing to worry .

august 9 was the first date of unprotected intercourse.
my last period before that was July 25-31.
my cycle this month only lasted about three to four days but the actual bleeding was less than that spotty and light pink or brown in color. it started on the 24th.
I have also had unprotected intercourse throughout the weekend that just passed.
no I am not trying to get pregnant but I also didn't realize he was cumming inside any of those times.
mainly I've only done the pull out method which I know isn't 100% or condoms but not these times.

If you have had periods on 24 August and they have extended for four full days ,even if blood was brown ,you have no chances to be pregnant.
Normal cycle length is from 3 to 7 days and your cycle is within normal limits.

Please discuss with your doctor for a safe method of protection if you don't try to get pregnant.
