Is Pregnancy Possible Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

Question: hello.. i had intimacy with my boyfriend... we did not had sex but I touched his semen with my finger.. and washed it off immediately .. later when i was home after 20 min i washed my hands again with soap and then washed my vagina without touching vulva.. Plz help me i am not having periods from past one and half months and when i consulted gynac they referred me with regestrone for five days.. i also took preg test which came negative.. now its been 2 days i have not started my periods yet and i am extremely worried and paranoid.. Am i pregnant??.. and last month i traveled a lot and also gained weight (4kgs).. my height is 5"7' and i weigh 65 kgs.. and i also have Pcos.. help me what do i need to do? and is there a possibility of me getting pregnant?? Help me

No chance of pregnancy.

Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question. I suggest you not to worry so much because if there was no contact of semen with the vagina as you have mentioned, there are no chances of getting pregnant. Since you have PCOS, you can have delayed periods especially when you have gained weight recently as it leads to hormonal imbalance.
The regestrone tablet was given to you to induce periods. You have to wait for at least 7-10 days for the periods to occur after taking this medicine. To be doubly sure, you can repeat the urine pregnancy test. Stress and weight gain also leads to delay in periods as it causes hormonal imbalance.

i would to like to know what is likelihood of a person to get pregnant when vagina is touched by washed fingers which were previously touched semen?? What happens to semen when when it washed with water or soap? can I still get pregnant by this.. Also I am having cramps now and then, but it isnt persisting for long.. is that a problem?? Do I need to follow any kind of diet under these circumstance ?? Any particular advice or habit that i need to follow?

Hi XXXX, thanks for responding. Semen usually get destroyed when it is washed with soap as sperms in it die on soap exposure.When you have washed your fingers with soap after touching the semen, touching vagina with those fingers cannot lead to pregnancy.So be assured, you are not pregnant.
Cramps in the lower abdomen is indicative of the fact that you will be getting your periods in next 3-4 days.
Since you have PCOS, you should follow a weight reduction diet and do exercise to reduce your weight. Weight reduction in PCOS will lead to improved hormonal profile and lead to regular menstrual cycle.

Should I go for a urine check test again or should I get a blood work done, the lack of periods is making me have terrible mood swings, untimely appetite, and mostly depression. When is the best time of the day to take the urine test?

I have touched small amount of semen with my index finger and tasted it.. will tasting semen causes pregnancy? I want to know, suppose i washed my index finger with just water and get it dried and Again after 15 mins i reached my house, wash my hands without soap and then wash her vagina with my hands..will this incident can get me pregnant??

Thanks for responding. If you are still unsure whether you touched your vagina with washed or unwashed hands after touching semen, then you should better repeat a urine pregnancy test. The best time to do the urine pregnancy test is early morning, with the first urine sample.
Tasting the semen does not leads to pregnancy. I still suggest you to not to worry.
